NHISPA Mission Statement

The New Hampshire ISP Association was founded in March, 1999, to encourage discussion among members and inform the public about matters of importance to the Internet Service Provider industry in the State of New Hampshire.

The NHISPA would seek to create a single voice or point of reference for a disparate collection of businesses comprising New Hampshire based Internet Service Providers. This voice will represent New Hampshire Internet Service Providers before legislative and regulatory bodies. The New Hampshire Internet Service Providers Association would seek to provide for the general welfare of the members by keeping them informed on legislative / governmental matters affecting the climate for New Hampshire ISPs and synthesize their positions on issues. The NHISPA will provide members and the public with information on trends withing the State on Internet usage and generally be a positive force in the general education of the members and the general public.

The NHISPA will not:

• Seek to alter the competitive behavior of the members;

• Participate in activities which would directly promote the self interest of any one member over another;

• Participate in partisan political matters;

• Form any relationship, create any rule, or behave in any way that has the effect to restrain trade or unlawful competition.

• Preclude dissenting members from acting on their own behalf.
